Howard Katz and his partner, Liz Williams joined forces to create a home for their many artistic collaborations. Their project is a Berlin based Performance Company working in the genres circus, dance, music, theater and media projection. The work blurs the lines between the art form, concept and technique.
Howard has been creating and producing work in the field of dance theater, music and circus for over 35 years, in NYC and Europe. Liz has been performing in the field of dance-theater and aerial circus for 20 years. This project is a collaboration between artists working in various fields of the performing & visusl arts, including Yoann Trellu (video), Matthais Herrmann (music), Ansgar Tappert (music), Felix Zoepf (music), Alex Ambiete (dance/director/costume), Rosiris Garrido (dance/aerial) , Karl-Heinz Helmschrot (director), Paul Krügener (circus/film), Sven Hagolani (photographer), Axel Lutter (Steel artist) and Marc Trivanti (martial/visual arts). The group has it’s rehearsal home in Q Space, a space for physical arts training in Berlin-Pankow.
This Contemporary Circus-Dance based film work is a theatrical deconstruction of a story. The physical & musical nature of the material was born out of a performance work process.
